hybrid or not hybrid
My turbo seals are starting to go,and i was wondering if a hybrid is worth putting on a small turbo cossie? The car has the usual mods decat moongoose/induction and a stage 1.Also the car has been cutting out on boost recently, and also hesitating under normal load...could this be turbo related as well? I was thinking maybe a sensor might be playing up and its useing alot more fuel as well. How could i find out if a sensor is down or playing up,oh and have any small turbo cossie owners changed there turbo to a hybrid?..and if so what one did they use?
Thanx

Yes, well worth it IMO, as a hybrid is a much stronger turbo The car has the usual mods decat moongoose/induction and a stage 1.Also the car has been cutting out on boost recently, and also hesitating under normal load This sounds like it could be the coil packs (one or both of them may need replacing) ...could this be turbo related as well? Yes, i'ts very worthwhile on a modded car like yours!
..and if so what one did they use? Turbo Technics do a good one , AFAIK it is the one that is used by Brooklyn Ford and *GGR for their 280/ *305 BHP conversionsThanx
* The GGR 305 BHP claim may well be a bit optimistic

i had a snaeky feeling about the coil packs as well,is there any way of testing them without buying new ones that may not be needed?
