Default The brakes have arrived!

First lets get straight to the pics

Massive thanks to Mike Rainbird@R&B Motorsport

Spec is 355mm Discs and 6-pot calipers and one off bells

Really chuffed to bits with the bells for a few reasons:-
1. Colour.. I opted for hard annodised and funny enough the colour is almost spot on to the OZ racing logos on the wheels.
2. The bells have a 15mm spacer built into them so I won't have to use spacers for the magnesium wheels which where ET33.. bringing the offset down to a much better ET18
3. I asked for a hubcentric locator ring to hold the wheels better which was done, but not only that Reyland didn't drill the hole out.. The reason I am chuffed with this is because my Mag wheels don't come with a center cap and I struggled to find one that would fit so decided against this and was going to paint the driveshafts nut so it didn't look rusty.. but now I don't need a cap as all your see is the bell (I hope that made sence)

Will take some better pics when I get home for my gallery thread

nice work martin, lets hope you dont change your rims or crack one paul or it will be new bells time lol but nice to build the spacer in the bell and a bonus about the cap was going to do the same with my spacers untill i was told that the pcd was allso different on the spacer to match the rims so i was lucky or that could have cost me as it whould have been a big bit of alloy to start off with

I hope they don't crack aswell I thought about the future of maybe changing wheels but as I'll be able to fit any Group-A wheel now and I'm sure it will be ok as all the Compomotive range are availible in GRP-A

Pic of the wheel with the bell fitted so you can see the cap

how often do you need to undo that nut? and if it has to come off it would be no hardship to remove the disc!!

not that hard getting them off with a big sledge hammer.

just getting them to go on all the way back into the hub is the hard bit.

I like the idea of incorporating the spacer into the bell, also the idea of the blank over the nut, though I still think they need something in the centre of the wheel maybe?
