just wondering how much it would cost to build a mk1 or mk2 escort running a cossie lump. a nice clean example.

Just depends on what you want to do with the car, fitting cossie engine
is the last job, strong shell, multi link axle to handle power/handling
suspension/brakes, shells cost £100 to £2000 depending on how much work you want to buy eg basket case to no welding work needed. A good car done to top spec is only worth what some one is willing to pay for it
