Purchased one yesterday for £250
Charge carrier been welded to accomodate dump valve you see, not sure how the fitting kit works or if I even need it

it's not a recognised term for what is just an inlet pipe

I wouldnt know what a charge carrier was if you asked me a couple of years ago before i joined this site, as Nick says its just a ford geek term, next you will be moaning he doesnt know what wastegate chatter is

Im actually laughing here at YOU LOT...

The substance passing through that pipe and into the plenum is AIR (And often oil..lol)

It cannot be deemed a CHARGE until it is mixed with FUEL, therefore that pipe is just an "air carrier" that crosses over the camcover, so i suppose it might be accurately termed a "crossover pipe" but it will NEVER be a CHARGE carrier as it can never carry a charge unless it has fuel in it. (Some 5th injectors can be mounted here, but thats not factory configuration)

I stand corrected, the reverse "air-carrier" is a vital part of the system, instead of the stock item which sways the other direction

still need one though...

Exactly. Just because some Ford enthusiasts refer to it as a 'Charge Carrier' doesn't mean that everyone will know what they mean.

Similarly, if I asked you what OS you run on your PC or what a GUI is, would you know? But to a computer expert, those terms are well known and a very basic part of what you use every day!!
