Default could this TURBO fit?

I just e-mailed pics/details of this HUGE turbo to my mate who is currently stuck in Africa

He's asked me to check to see if this could fit onto his 3 door, std 2wd manifold and if so to get it for him.

GT35 turbo
t3 fitment
4inch intake
3inch exhaust with vband
roller bearing
360 scrollable both compressor and exhaust totally adjustable

this is the details I have at the moment and this pic!

also what should this be worth? (It's brand new)

Cheers

If its really a GT35, then by looks of it its a 1.05 housing GT35 as that hot side is pretty huge.
And GT35s have the option of a T3 exhaust manifold flange IIRC.

Compressor looks a bit small for a GT35 in that pic tho, but prob jus the angle.

To fit it to a cossie you need at least a 2wd manifold adapted for an external wastegate, but the turbo flange would be right at least.

Also adapt the downpipe for V-band connection.

And pipe from the wastegate, either a screamer or route it back into the downpipe.

They about a grand in the states i think, prob a fair bit more here.

There are T3 or T4 options of GT35 flanges, and it says T3 flange, so id say it is

I have all the measurments for all the traditional flange types somewhere, ie T2, T3, T4, and T6, if someone needs em.

measure the outlet flange mine was 84mm x 74 so its massive thats a usa t4 flange and the uk t4 flange is just normal fit on a 2wd manifold maybe if u have the larger size u could order a new exhaust housing a smaller one?

US and UK T4 flanges are the same, just most things people call T4s in the UK (ie RS500 T4s) are just T3/4s.

RS500 T4s use T3 flanges.

It makes no odds.

You need to mod the manifold or buy a different one either way.

If the flange is right you still need to add adapter to run an external gate, so wont cost much more to change the flange from T3 to T4 one or whatever.

But it says its a T3 flange, so it is and no prob, unless he a liar.

Its a big fuckoff turbo tho, unless everything else could support at least 500bhp id not bother fitting it.

It will be a long engine build project dont fancy sticking it on a standard engine with a group a head gasket. may not last long.

Just aske the guy to measure the outlet flange.

2 1/2 inch. its totally universal in outlet position, both the housings are on adjustable fixings.

what outlet? compressor?

the turbine inlet is what you needed to know to be sure if it T3 or T4 flange, and thats not a square flange
