You know you have your list of favorites and on that list before each website some of them have there own little icon but most just have the normal white page with a blue e on it.

I just wondered why all of my favorites dont have there own icon, only a hand full, even passionford hasnt got a special icon

 

Just one of "those" things really.....

 

I expected a more in depth reply but if there isnt one....................


Only kidding, im not really bothered anyway, i just happen to notice yesterday when i was deleting some sites i havent used for ages.

 

I noticed that some of mine had little icon's but after a bit they changed to the blue E thingy.

 

Lol, quite often you will visit a site or a new forum or something and save it to your bookmarks and it does have a little picture icon next to it rather than the typical E icon. This is because the site has specified this, to my understanding.

I have had a whole shitload of them - including a few forums I use which had little pic icons reletive to the forum, and sometimes had the V logo for vBulletin, and MSN page that the butterfly wings icon, and photobucket had a camera icon...

But after a while they just turned back into normal E icons - usually after a PC crash or something, like when you try and do something and the PC freezes and then that "encoutered a problem needs to close - send error report, don't send" blah blah thing pops up.... Then they'd change usually to the E icon. But for some reason both Photobucket and the page that has all the PF smileys on I bookmarked changed to the "unable to read" file icon like this;



Which is odd....

But in answer to why? Fuck knows
