Default Cossie police chase

I was on m23 yesterday when a maroon sierra cosworth completely stadard looking bar stainless exhaust came screaming past me 130+ followed by an unmarked T5 with the lights going, i assume it was nicked shame to see a cossie get thrashed and properly inevitably damaged by the end of the chase

why is it a shame to see a car capable of doing 150mph doing less than that?

i can see your point, but would you be annoyed if you saw, say for instance, myself doing 130mph, would you go "ooo thats been thrashed, thats not nice"

Personally when i see a fast car being thrashed to fuck, i think "Good lad ".

Shame that it has probably been knicked though .

He may have thought he was going to get away

Beach - you raise a good point

why does everyone seems to think that because a cossie is driven at over 100mph that it is stolen?

If, for instance i decided to go out and thrape my cossie down the M1, i would have some degree of mechanical sympathy ie; keep it off the limiter, use the clutch to change gear etc, its sad to think of the potential abuse its gonna get because the tealeaf driving a stolen one doesnt care, he just wants to go fast.

i didnt clock the plate im afraid.

I didnt mean that i hated every cossie being thrashed but if its not his car then that is what annoys me. If its his then fair play but it wernt gonna out run a t5 easily it looked pretty bog standard tbh bar exhaust although i know from experience standard exterior dont mean standard intenals.I made the same run again this morning and 2 junctions before i saw the incident yesterday the same T5 cop car was sat in a slip road9 cant gaurantee if it was exact same car) so i guess that the cossie prob wernt stolen and someone was out having fun.

T5's are not that fast anyway, me and a mate were having a play ( late at night, empty dual carridgeway) I was in my wanky renault 19 16V, he was in his 280BHP rear drive sapphire, and unfortuantly a T5 saw us as we came across a roundabout very quickly ( again, safe as you can see through it so no chance of clattering a civillian ), as I was obviously behind, and already had 11 points, I pulled over and put my hazards on as the coppers came round the island, hoping that if I pleaded with them they would let me off with a bollocking, but they just fooking shot past after my mate , so of course I did one sharpish, rang my mate to tell him they were after him, but he was already long gone Cossie 1 Piggys 0

But I would never run from the law, oh no, its really really naughty and makes them cross fun though
