No nit ain't turbo lol the stage 1 is refering to me finally finding alloys for my escort, I know it ain't nething special but its all I can afford as I'm only 17!! I found a set from a mark4 RsTurbo crapy tyres tho only £30 ! So I need tpo buy decent tyres and Iw a lookin at toyo proxies t1-s as these were i have been told are pretty good! Has neone got ne other info on ne other tyres? I'm also lookin for a back box to fit my car so if neone can help there tell me!!cheers

 

Falken ZE 512's are cheap as chips and not too shonky. Used them for a couple of years on the missus XR2i and was quite impressed with the grip and wear. R-Tec in St. Albans used to do them at a cracking price as well a while ago.

Fair enough if your 17 i know how hard it can be to insure something decent at that age!
I have proxies on my cab and there great...(205/40/17 mind) IIRC they are about £48 each for RS turbo rims which is a bargain.
The thing is do you want to spend that much on tyres you may be better getting yourself a set of RST rims with good rubber all round.. there only gonna cost you arround £120

P.s you may be able to get part worns in this size so its worth having a ring round first to get a price on them!

 

part worns @ £10-20 each from your local pikey tyre place shouldnt have any trouble with wheelspin but braking might be interesting in the wet
