Bet if you Mongoose owners actually bothered to measure the diameter of the pipe - you'd find it was 2.5in bore, the 3in bore will only come with a 4in inwardly rolled tailpipe - you have no choice in this
Magnex In my own opinion is the best for performance, the mongoose has the better sound and overall appeal to joe public
Given the chance, I'd have the Magnex front pipe and Mongoose fro that all the way back

I had a mongoose in the Orion in my sig, very good IMO, wasnt the best fit though (although it was on the car when i got it), used to hang very low, but that car is now dead and the engine is in my cabby, which has a Scorpion, PERFECT fit, not sure about power as i never had any readouts done, and the scorpion has 1 less joint in the system, but i do rate the Mongoose highly.

the only fault i can find with the Magnex is the back box. its massive and it sits wonky which is annoying but it doesn't bother me enough to change it. It works well, lifetime warranty and IMO sounds very nice.

Back box is easy to fix if you spend some time messing baout with it
Christian, I do appologise, but so many people say they have the 3in one, sod spending over Ł450 on an exhaust if it's under 270bhp!!

How dare you
I always give you loads of notice when I am coming up and tell you what I want done. I reckon I SHOULD just turn up then it won't give you time to hide the coffee because you know I don't drink tea

Power Engineering exhausts are rubbish, I heard the welds break easily
I've got a Scorpion and have no complaints at all.
My Fiesta has a Magnex although the previous owner decided a 3" tailpipe was enough. I didn't agree so my bro popped over with his angle grinder and welder and it now has a 4" tailpipe instead
Can't go far wrong with Magnex, Mongoose or Scorpion

how come so many people choose goose or magnex.have i missed something cos most rs's i see have scorpian fitted.mine has a scorpian fitted and i love the way it sounds over the other two.the RIPPING sound is phat.are they really that restrictive??
i had a magnex was okay but sounded shite and the backbox looks nasty, replaces the sytem with a mongoose but it has no flexi and fitting wasnt as good as magnex so now ive got the mongoose backbox on magnex system best of both worlds
