Help please series 1 won't start its got a spark, it was running but ran out of petrol and now when you take the spark plugs out it is fireing loads of fuel out, ive blown it out with a air line and tried it again and still same.
Could the metering head be gone?

 

Unlikely to be honest, a bit too coincidental if you ask me.

I'd try drying the plugs, re-fit them, then prime the pump SEVERAL times before attempting to start it, the injectors open at a certain pressure so you need the pressure there before you attempt to start it.

I presume it started un-aided before?
