Default My New Toy....(Every Day Car) Sorry, It's a BMW......

Picked this off e-bay last week as I needed a new everyday car. Absolutely loving it. Came with a full BMW Service History from new, Full M-Tech Options fitted from new, been owned by three enthusiasts from the day it was delivered, who all kept it totally immaculate, and it's a genuine IS (Sport), as opposed to the more regular SE. Quite a find in this condition.

And the semi personal registration came with it.............

This is a joy to drive...............

Lamb Chops, Great to hear from you again, have to get together real soon..... Anything going on ????

Very good picture of the 3 door and Goodwood Entrance, I have one very very similar, must try and put it up for you, the positioning of the cars must be within a couple of inches of each other. Oh.... And what made you buy a BMW.........Might that ride to National Day in my old smoker have influenced you ????? The BMW BBS Split Rims from my old one, are now on the silver one. The ones in the picture are in my loft (But not for sale).

LEDA Suspension : Now that did cross my mind actually, bearing in mind the registration came with the car at no extra cost.

Great to hear from you too Jim , where you been? Nearly gave you a call to see where you were as not seen you on here in ages. You not been back on the boats again have you?

You are right about the BM, loved your old one and that’s why I got mine tbh. The ride is so quiet and smooth especially on the motorways. So what happened to the old girl did she break down or did you just fancy a change? Your not breaking it by any chance are you? hehe

No excuse for hording wheels again Jim share the wealth that’s what I say don’t blame you for putting the split rims on the new motor as they did look awesome on the old car. Better than the ones above by far, still wouldn’t mind getting my mits on the ones above too

BMW Concourse...... Naa, it's my everyday runner.

Old 525i is still on my drive way...... It has been sold, but just waiting for my buddy to give me the cash.

The wheels on the BMW when I bought it just looked a little too bling... So put the BBS Split Rims on there and it looks perfect, just like they did on the old one.

I'll try and find the Goodwood Entrance Picture, and get it too you.

As for buying the new BMW, I just saw it on E-bay, went and took a look at it, and offered him a half decent price once I saw the condition of it.

Sounds good mate, good old eBay eh. I was looking to spend a bit more really than I did, was looking to get the newer shape but came across mine on a card in Asda would you believe. The car was two roads up from me and was cheap, full BMW history 110k on the clock, made him an offer of 1k and he excepted!! Was surprised and think I got a bargain.

Hows Mark and has he still got the saff?

LAMBCHOPS : Thats a sensible price for the year and milage. As an everyday car you won't go far wrong. I did look at a couple of 540's...... but decided I would be better off being sensible for a change and not going the V8 route. Between the insurance and fuel, it would have defeated the object of an every day driver. So settled for this one, which to be honest had a better history and looks better. Just not as fast .

Anyway, I'm trying to get into the Rolling Road Session at Power Engineering on Saturday, but still waiting for Tony Turbo to get back to me with any spaces.

Have to tax the Cossie if there's a spare place...Last session was done just after she'd been run-in with the new engine, and on a boiling hot summers day, so maybe producing a little bit more ..... We will see.

Great! If this is the case with most well looked after beemers, then an e39 M5 with 118k on the clock should be a a safe bet and not the risk I think it is....
