I can drink a fair few beers in an hour but not as many as I have spent so far, and its still ongoing!!

Cheers for all the comments folks, what a response!!

Yeah, I have thought about maybe a slight further drop on suspsension but am also pondering split rim 16" alloys so am holding on for now. These Gp4 ML's are the third set of wheels in three years and its not been on the road yet!! But bubble arched Mk1's were made to sit slightly higher so thats why its like it is. I have tried to keep reasonably period (well appart from the carbon and ally) but also incorporate modern technology for performance. But BDA bits cost the earth!!

The front brakes are 6 pot Hi-Spec billet Jobbies that I got about 18 months back. The ally bells are one offs and were machined for the car and also to take the Gp4 studs for the alloys.

I have also now ordered up some billet 4 pots for the rears and will go hydraulic handbrake as I am sick of waiting for type approval on mechanical handbrake calipers in the same style. Just hope Mr MOT looks the other way!!

The car is also an origonal factory black RS16 and the only one registered with the AVO club in the world apperently. There are supposedly three others but where I dont know??

Glad you like it folks, makes it worth while!!

A few more pics for you to look over...

I have kept a full photo history rebuild of the last three years so when its eventually all ready I reckon I will give the mags a shout and ask if they fancy a write up??

You should see the spec, ouch I forgot about all them bits!!

Still worth every penny tho, bless her!!

Can you tell its my baby then!! Its been three years in the making (so far) but the car has not been on the orad for about 13 years now. I bought it as a pile of rusty bits and it was actually white. Once I decided to back to original black the spending just seemed to roll on and on. I will go did out a spec sheet and see if you can guess a cost...

I also need to work out and agree an insurance valuation soon. Thats already prooving to be a nightmare to do!!

CheeRS again
