Default What "type" of ISCV is a ford jobby?

There's a few different options on my ECU and am curious as to what type it is? stepper motor?

It's not a stepper motor one, it uses a coil to move the valve and you need to use pulse width modulation to control how far it opens.

i may be wrong but i think the std two port ford iscv is controlled by duty cycle

no i'm just getting all the details together so i know what's what i've got the wiring info for PWM type now ta

i'm also pretty sure the CPS is inductive pickup (2wire) right?

oooh, this is all oh so exciting

now all i need to do is find the drivers for this fucking USB/SERIAL adapter i bought off ebay

poxy tablet PC doesnt have a COM port on it
