I want to replace the alternator belt sun is it difficult whats involved? cheers .....s2 erst

 

undo the bolt on the tensioner arm and then pull up on the belt! this should slacken the belt enough to get it off. then put the new belt on and pull the alternator forward using a bar or screwdriver. tighten the bolt up,job done!

 

I managed to do it mate.... so its very easy! An extra pair of hands can be helpful though!
