Default white van man

i use a ford transit for my building jobs, anyone else a white van man ?
they are very practical for my job but tbh i could do with a bit of extra space in the gut/wheel department !!

I have a 135bhp T350 MWB with 6 speed box.

Electric windows, electric heated mirrors, reverse park sensors, air con, traction control, ABS. No bastard heated front screen though which I should have ordered it with!

I drive mine proper. Sideways!

I have the Vauxhall Viverio

imho it is an AWESOME van and does exactly what you want it too

1.9 Diesel Turbo that will happily still at 110mph in 6th gear all day long

Plenty of gut room to

sounds good.

will ask the boss.

is there seriously a lot of gut room tho ?

will admit to having a 60 inch beer gut, and its not very comfortable in some vans !

Yes mate, the steering wheel moves right in---or out for when you loose a bit

And the seat moves back alot

Go to the Vauxhall garage and take one out

i run vxl vivario's cdti with 6spd box's now instead of transits, vxl much much more comfortable and quiet and perform better than transits but must admit transits alot stronger and better built.

heres my last transit

its been on a few 200+ statnds aswell over the last few years

Andy,

Merc don't sell vans with central locking and I have never seen one with electric windows either. The central locking and mirrors are available though...

The Sprinters which I have seen with central locking and electric mirrors where fittind by a company in this country liscenced by Merc to retro fit the systems, which are independant to the original Merc loom (which means they can be bought and fitted without much fucking about).

I got my hands on a new Sprinter with central locking last year and ripped the dash switch and control unit out, then butchered the wiring loom to suit a different spec and control unit.

I was knocking around in a Suzuki 'Carry' 1.3 for a bit, was awesome! (especially as it wasn't mine)

For the record, you can't make them do a stoppie like you can with the Bedford Rascal.
