There used to be a place to get decent pistons for the 2.0L Zetec bottom end with the 1600 RS turbe head. The compression needs to be lowered from about 11:1 to around 7:1 or the sheeshkas will blow to shit. The source was a european company called Mahle, check them out, I've not played with cars for a while cos I've been medically banned from driving for over 5 years, as the scousers say, no need mate. (Mahle Pistons!..)

 

How low do you want to go, maybe skim the std mahle pistons, bags of meat on them, and good price from Matt Lewis.
