Saw this yesterday I think on some random quiz channel on TV, but cannot figure it out!
"ADD ALL THE NUMBERS"
So, if you follow the quote you end up with 11, but thats the WRONG answer as you're not supposed to do what it says, just add all the numbers...
So you add up 1, 5, 6, 22, 2 you get 36 - which again is STILL wrong!
So I thought, must be a trick question, cos they are all words and no numbers, so the answer must be zero - but thats wrong ASWELL!!!!!

:w all:

Can't figure it out

one plus five minus six plus twenty two divided by two

And if you add the numbers 5+1+6+22+2 you get 36, not 56
cause we basically add every number up that u come up with from the sum
and
like 1+5=6 so thats a 1,5,6 -6 +22 so were now 1,5,6,6,22 /2=11 so the list is now 1,5,6,6,22,2,11 = 53 so thats still diffrent to what i got before but thats the kinda way i think it works lol

Read it again and tell me you cant see the word twenty
Then read it again and you will see the word twenty two

Using your working the numbers would be;
ONE : FIVE : SIX : TWENTY : TWO : TWO
I don't see how you can use one of the words (numbers) twice.

Well thats why you will never win
Your reading what you want to read
Twenty is there as a number ..... and twenty two is there as a number.
Don't look at it as a phrase, or a question or anything else - just look for numbers and add them up

We both posted or edited at 11.01pm (as can be seen from the time stamp) I realised that mistake 2 minutes before that when I was messing about with the bigger and bolder letters on the post above it.
Anyway we will still both be wrong somewhere - thats how they make their money

no chiper, the words are written so in twenty two you can ONLY see twenty and two! if it was in numerical,ie 22 you would see 2,2,22 but you can ONLY see twenty and two, doesnt matter if they are together or not,its only writen once.thats how i perceive it

I was before you
