If you paid £4500.00 then i hope its mint! The decent 1s are always gonna fetch good money as a decent one will start getting harder and harder to find and people only except a certain quailty. If i was you i would stick hold and enjoy the car otherwise put it in a garage and 4get about it for 5years i would imagine that mint 1s will be going for alot more then what you paid!

Yeah mate im keeping it dont think i couid get rid even though ive only done about 6K in the last two and a half years but you see good spec cars and genuinely good and excellent condition cars going for quite low prices compared to 12 and 18 month ago also i think there now a enthusiast owned car as a few years ago these were the car to have and mod the nineties etc were as now the same age group are going for more modern cars so this shouid help values etc

the shit ones will constantly get broken or sold for peanuts, mint standard ones and i mean mint will fetch very good money. I can see the really tidy ones holding value but not really increasing by much. It is kind of whats happening to the s1's the shit ones dont go for much compared to the mint ones

I reckon if people keep on breaking them at the rate they are then they are going to become pretty rare thus push the value up.

If you keep it in GOOD!! nick then it will go up in price the market has gone a bit flat at the moment for rs turbos and cosworths (unless it's a 500) but in my opinion it will go back up as the value for these cars always seem to go up and down plus it all depends on who wants your car you may get someone who falls in love with it and will pay top money.

It's not always bad ones being broken though is it?, I mean take SOY for example, that was broken as have many other hi-spec RST simply because they are worth so much more in parts than a whole car, and for this reason some legends have been lost.

Worth fak all, only place you'll get top money now is places like this site and the proper enthusiast sites

Local rag - no chance not in our lifetime anyway

John Laverick's RST on e-Bay the other day - proper stunner, sat at £2000 for 4 days until I bid on the damn thing, wouldn't have gone higher either if I hadn't

When mine goes, it will be in pieces. Makes me sad, but that's the only way to come anywhere near (and that's still not that near) getting back any of what I have spent on it.

I would tell you what I got offered for it 12 months ago, but you'll never believe me.

Same here

After everything I have been through with it, I honestly don't think I could pull it apart, unless it was dead......

I wonder what people would actually be prepared to pay for my car in one piece
