Default wiring up a water temp gauge ??

Hi,

when wiring up a water temp gauge should some sort of 'special' wire be used from the sensor to the gauge ? I've just used normal wire but my mate says you should use a thermal wire or something That could explain why I'm getting low readings, the highest temp i've seen is just below 70 degrees and I'm 99% sure it was way hotter than that ! anybody any ideas.

cheers, Duncan

No mate just use a decent bit of 250m/a wire.

You don't need special wire.
