Why do i have a pipe from the pressure regulator in manifold

Default Why do i have a pipe from the pressure regulator in manifold

Hey everyone why do i have a pipe from the what i think is a fuel pressure regulator that goes to the inlet manifold on my series 2, would it be ok to disconect or could i cause damage, i have been told that it increases the fuel pressure by doing this, cheers

It basically goes from a little regulator sat behind the metering unit

this sounds like the so called "fume injecter mod" that some on here say works and others say it makes the engine leaner and is rubbish.Remember loads of differing views anyhow.But a pic would be nice.Regards Micky

It is not the mod that you think it is Micky, completely different

however i would takje a stab in the dark and say it was once tuned @ M.A.Developments??
