cold start

rst 1990 wont start without throttle when cold.been told the cold start valve has its own relay but i dont know where to find it can any 1 please help me?

On an S1 it's behind the dash: lower drivers side: black item. Sure they'd be in the same places. The purple one is the fuel pump relay. There should only be 2 there iirc.
