Default Kenlowe Fans

After some sound advise from anyone who has installed Kenlowe fans before. Disconnected the old fan, so now am left with the original connector attached to the loom. Is it best to attach the new kenlowe fan to a connector, like which was attached to the old fan, and plug the two connectors together. Or cut off the old connector, and crimp or solder the wirers together. If anyone has overcome this minor dilemma, I would be very grateful for some advise on the best course of action

Cheers

Thats quite a good idea mate, so the second fan is like a standby one. So if you lets say, wanted to have them running parallel at the same time, would, and could you double the wires together and then connect them onto the loom, or would that be abit dodge to double them up!!!!!

you could do that but make sure you put an extra relay in there as well..
the 2nd fan is more for track days and traffic jams!!

if you are fitting two fans to both be running how would i go about fittin ga relay so it doesnt put too much of a load on the engine? as i guess with both fans connected up to the standard connection the rpm will drop a fair bit when they cut in, and they wont spin up as fast?

When fitting your kenlow fan mate be carefull when poking the black inserts throgh the radiator that hold the fan inplace. If u get it to close to one of the cores in the rad it can rub through, mine did this and knacked my rad, water and coolent everywhere!! Just thought this may help.

I had my twin fans so that the original fan would come on and off with the fan switch as normal. Then by flicking a switch in the car both fans would come on regardless of the fan switch being on or off
