Default cossie problem

Booted my cossie lastnight and then it started to run on 3, checked all the plugs and the plug in port 3 was covered in oil..

Any ideas?

dont sound good mate

could be

Melt down on that cylinder,
Headgasket

something like that

either way, sounds like head off time to see


EDIT:
did you mean the Tip of the plug was covered in oil? so the cylinder
has oil in it?
or as in cam cover gasket failure? so the Spark plug well was full of oil?

MINE DID THE SAME THING ABOUT 6 MONTHS AGO MATEY, TOOK HEAD OFF AND FOUND NUMBER 4 PISTON HAD MELTED DUE TO RUNNING LEAN.
HAVE YOU HAD IT COMPRESSION TESTED YET?

Done at piston before and it was smoking like crazy so dont think its that..

Booked in at engine advantages this week..
