Got a pop up blocker on my mums pc and can't find out which program it is, turned off windows pop up blocker and AVG's but a box still appears in the bottom right corner of the screen saying pop up blocked, see pic. Can't click on it to view or allow pop ups or anything. Any ideas which program it is or how i can find out?

Why do you want to know what it is and turn it off though?

You could try a search, start bar- search- for files and folders, see if anything is returned on there.

 

Cos some of the pop ups you need. For example in that pic is it blocking a pop up from LearnDirect.co.uk which is probably a usefull and needed pop up.

Do what ima said, but also go into Control Panel, Add/Remove Programmes and scroll the list to see what programmes are listed there.

I think the yahoo toolbar is also a popup blocker ?

 

I always use the Google toobar's popup blocker and it's done me fine
