Slight detonation problem! fucked 2 pistons and scored the bores! block has now been re-bored/honed just sent my bottom end off to karl to be lightened and balanced. I have everything else i need to complete the rebuild, appart from big valve head so given a few days (once bottom end is back she should be up and running (in) again!
LOL cant wait! i just love re-fitting engines.. honest.

I know all i need now is the fish!
at least it holds water shell isnt rotten at all.. just had a bump on the drivers wing never got it fixed. Plus the engine threw a rod so that put it out of action really! my blue cab is MUCH nicer anyway (when its clean and works!)

 

Saw you're blue one at SCA in Jan or Feb for the Fast Ford RR day. Looked quite cool and seemed to attract the attention of their photographer.

i see its had the old screw driver through the door, some fukka did that to my old mk4, but didnt open the cos the alarm didnt go off

yea that was my car at SCA shit that was ages ago!
Lol not had a screwdriver thru the door a previous owner thought it would be 'cool' to put an led wired up to the alarm just above the lock.. :gimpy: if you ask me it just helps a theif find the keyhole at night! lol
