Why won't the pic work in my sig?

Why won't the pic work in my sig?
Went on my profile and have tried both the HTML and the board IMG tag code...... just shows up as text. What am I doing wrong?

remove the Z from the first img tag !

???? When I uploaded it to my webspace it was 10k well under the 25600k I was allowed
Why, when I download it it says its 161k ????
Whats fooked up ?
