Default Any web designers in?

Please help me look clever and help me answer this question...

It can either be done using DHTML or Java. There are other ways but these are the simplest, but both have browser limitations.

Hope that helps,
Dan

Thanks Dan. He is looking at DHTML, but is stuggling still!

Do you know any good websites that could guide him through it?

Try http://www.dynamicdrive.com/

Always have some useful scripts on there, but the forums are also handy for tips. There are plenty of sites out there for learning the basics of DHTML ( http://www.weballey.net/dhtml/ for example)

Would it be possible for you to use an 'IFRAME'.

Basically you make a frame & then tell it to use another webpage as its content. Automatically scrolls if it needs to etc.

See here for a quick reference....

http://www.htmlhelp.com/reference/ht...al/iframe.html

Do a search on the web for more info on syntax & examples.

Just a thought as its simple to use!!!

You could try and use this StyleSheet property:

<DIV style="OVERFLOW: auto"></DIV>

not sure on the support in various browsers but i think its a W3C standard.
