It wont make it any more powerful necessarily

 

Unless the car was running badly before hand, a simple management swap won't increase power at all....

 

i fitted a 5th injector and got 50hp mate

Others seem to agree with me that a change in management won't on its own increase your horsepower ....... lol

 

well thats why i asked the question... lol to find out what peoples views are? as im not the most clued in!!! as uv exposed lol!!! haha either way it seems not many people have got involved in this topic.. which looks like to me that not many people have gone for engine mangment recently. (or just cant be botherd...lol) ie gotech or something along the lines of that. then i could find out how the characteristics of the car changed after the mangment was fitted. it must make a difference to the way the cars drives and responds and the power delivery.....

Try using the search function for words like

gotech, dta, autronic, megasquirt, emerald, secs, omex etc etc and see how many threads there are

 

Loads of people change management, I reckon they didn't understand what you were actually asking


All I can say is my car was sooo much nicer to drive on Omex, and you don't have to bodge it together with an extra injector to make some decent horsepower.

 

The advantage of EFI management is the flexibility to do different things with the car.
