I still find it funny people buy Widescreen TV's without having digital boxes, somehow they still think the picture looks great - eeeeew, stretched people, was bad enough selling the things when Vanessa was on ITV!!

Steve, the main issue with this TV is that it's a 100HZ one, usually about Ł200 more to the price

my old man bought a 32" widescreen, was 100HZ, etc a few years ago and that was Ł1500 quid back then.

I told the old coont I could get him a 36" for the same price but he didnt listen

why have a massive screen if they only distort the larger you get and it just looks plain silly anyway unless you have an Opra hall!!!

I bought a 32" 100hz Sony CRT in June and I'm starting to wish I had got an HD ready LCD/Plasma. My Xbox 360 already supports HD, PS3 is out soon, Sky will be doing HD broadcasts this year etc etc. IMO you'd be silly to buy a non-HD ready TV now.
