Yes they are a 2 part item - the upper part is rubber and held on by special clips and 2 nuts at either end, and the bottom part is plastic.

They are also the same as a mark 1 xr4 or 2.0 IS other than a different rubbing strip which is also removable. The upper part on the 2.0 IS version is not painted.

I think you should re check mate as there no rubber on a genuine rear 3 door rear bumper, plus there not the same as any other for they are unique to the cosworth,I think I should know mate its not as if i aint owned just 1 or 2 in my time

pete - I am deffo correct as I have owned a few of these over the years and every one of them has been two piece - rubber painted top and plastic painted bottom as I have pulled them apart to clean out all the crap that gets between them.

Had 2 white ones and a moonstone - none had ever had paint and all split apart

So we agree it 2 parts of 2 different types of material.Does that make it easier for everyone to understand. And your 1st post on this thread pete did say No to the original question is it a 2 part bumper.

And Pete that is for the cosworth and the xr4i 2.0iS and xr4x4.

Now peace everyone.
