how do turbo's get there name...
like subject....is it because of a comp house....or comp wheel...or something else...
i see sometimes turbo's with a t34 comp house...and its called a t38....
in the new performance ford...the red fiesta has according to the text a t34...but on the pic you see a t3 comp house...
in the mega thrash...the saph from peter neville if im correct...the text says..t38...but you can see a t34 comp house...
this is not a dig for the owners...but more like a question..

Infact most hybrid turbos involve either machined covers or mix and match from other units

All names are bollocks anyhow, they so vague its unbelivable, companies just make the names up as they go along.
The only names that are vaguely accurate are larger T4 framed turbos that are called T60, T70, T80 and so on.
That number is the compressor inducer diameter in mm.
But to confuse that, the large Trust/Greddy turbos also use T78 and T88, even tho it seems to mean nothing, as they both are miles smaller than "real" T78 and T88 turbos.
