Correct. As i took photos for him and advertised it for him aswell...

He blew the engine up at brunters at the daddy thrash in 2002 (I still have the video on my PC) Got it rebuilt by Harvey then sold it on for a house deposit.

He sold it to some1 i don't know who....BUT...the buyer took it out of the sapphire and had it installed in a 3 door. It was a 'D' reg moonstone with the black RL5's on it which the sapphire came with. Was hacking round National day this year........sounded the fookin tits on full chat

He wrote that off round a tree, and used bits to build the green pickup.

Danny - It wasn't a tree it was a lampost in Southend....I can assure you this because i was in the passenger seat when he binned it!

He used all of the bits and the engine bay/front chassis, but the rest of the shell was scrapped as it was well bent! He actually used 2 cars for the pick-up. 1st one was a Escort and the 2nd an orion. Escoer was used for the donar vehicle, and the orion was sued for the boot/rear opening pick-up boot!

It never did anything though, one of those wow cars when you see it but never put any fast times down iirc

IMO Should have been 2 zt's slapped in there or better specced motors and set some good times
