Six of us from up here looked at going down to marshal, but we didn't bother in the end.

I even looked at doing the event as I was a member of the organising club last year (Sutton & Cheam) but my 2006 licence hasn't come through yet.

 

It was a great day mate... I might think about prepping my 1.3SR for next year, have a bit of budget racing

There were more marshalls than they knew what to do with

 

Oh and by the way the escort was driven by Will Nicholls who normally drives a WRC spec Subaru Impreza. Rare mistake soooo early on in the rally

Im sure Graham at Quicks Motorsport will soon have it sorted.

It was wheeled out to play because its a 2 wheel drive only event

Won by the Mk 1 Escort, and the Pug (car 4) is RWD powered by a motorbike 'busa engine.

Andy now runs a 2.0 Mi 16 engine.

The car used to have a 1.6 Pug engine up until 2004
