wot engine oil should i be using

Default wot engine oil should i be using

the car is a frst chipped 180bhp i put fully synthethic 5w 30 is that right???

stick to a decent oil 10w40

i use mobil1 15/50 motorsport my car has always been run on it

5w/30 is for zetec engines mate, i tend to use a 10/40 or 10/50 as 0/40 or 5/40 tends to be to thin and can cause the turbo to smoke....

I have been using 5w-40 fully synthetic in my FRST engine for a long time and thats a high mileage stage1 engine with no problems

SOme engine will respond differently to different grades depending on wear, mods use etc.

Start with a 5w-40 in a stock car and go from there.

I used to run Mobil 1 Motorsport, think thats 15W 50 from memory, switched now thou and using Miller 15W 60.
