Default Removing a bottom end/Gearbox, Got a prob tho..

Mines been back in for a while, But gotta come back out,Thing is, I cant get the front wheels off as I cant find my locking wheel nut ANYWHERE

So I cant take my drive shafts out, Is there another way to get my bottom end/Gearbox out again


Needs to be done sharpish really, So i dont mind bodging anything/breaking anything



Please help! LOL

take the driveshaft out from the gearbox instead

you can leave them attached to the hub quite easily mate.....bit more of a pain to work around them but its very possible; although with the wheels on I'm still not sure if you would be able to get enough access?

basically do it as you would normally, undo trackrod end balljoint, arb and lower arm balljoint.

if you can get at all those with the wheel on then you should be fine, pull em straight out the box and tie the driveshaft up so you dont knackers the joints..

Always leave my wheels on anyway,its easyier to pull shafts out with em on

Do you need to take the box out? You could leave the box in and just remove the bottom end.

Or just pop the ball joints out and leave the shaft in the hub and just pop it out of the box at the other end...

The cars going away to have the engine bay seam stitched and the cage welded in, so yeah, its gotta be empty
