i dont know mate to be honest but if you dont live too far away from me you could have a look over my mk5 rs2000

the 105 xr3i used a different gearbox to the 130xr3i and the rs2k so i would change that too but i cant see the conversion being that bad.....

the 130 xr3i zetec engine is just as fast as the rs2k one and upgrading your 105 to 130 spec would be an easier option if more speed/power is your reason

i`ve had 2 130 xr3i`s and i have a mk5 rs2k now and i`d say they arent that far apart performance wise

Id say swap the engine, box, gear linkage, ecu and loom i would imagine, the mounts are the same, but the gear linkage is different, if you fit the MTX75 box from the RS you'll need the lift up reverse gear linkage to go with it ( only a few bolts in and out... mind the exhaust though )Ive owned several RS2000's and 2 105 bhp and 1 130bhp XR3i and stripped both (currently have the remains of a 130bhp escy in the garage ) and they are all very similar !! I work in lovely Portswood if you want to come down and look at the layout on my current RS2k
