U say your ecu has coloured hearts/diamonds on it??

pre 90 spec ECU's have coloured sqaures, 90 spec have heart, diamond, hash symbols printed black on the front.

Your fuel pressure regulator, a standard car doesnt have one, its sprung loaded inside to give a preset pressure, i believe tuning companies however do run a pipe to this to increase fuel pressure at high boost.

I'd speak to a tuner before you try it however (if you are going to)

the ecu you have has a knock sensor built in which retards the timing, seeming as most cvh engines tap etc youd be better off getting an early type ecu as it could reduce your power.

That would make sense ive seen a Series 2 manifold that doesnt have the hole tapped for the knock sensor.
