Avril (Adeles mum) has achieved a great deal in her chosen interest, not to mention keeping some of britains worst where they belong so please help if you can. Like she says every penny does count
Thanks to Tiff for OK'in this post

like i said the forum content isnt everyones cup of tea nor is Avrils chosen interest. Background is a young girl was brutally attacked by someone who had already served time for assault.

Funny how that link doesnt show any form of newspaper report/BBC news/Sky.com etc. (I may have missed it though) And as you say theres no background info as to why/what it happened.

Im a suspicious bastard, so it just smells odd. Maybe its all kosher, but Id be sceptical about donating a fiver (its not the amount its the principle) just from that link.

Also I would of thought the NHS would pay for plastic surgery in this case, (like they do for burns victims) or she could claim compensation from the CIB to help pay for it.

And if you read on it mentions the pics "The Sun" took but theres no linkage to the actual story.

I hope Im wrong on all this.

Im sorry but i totally disagree with this.

Although I truely feel sorry for what happened to the girl i feel there are much more deserving causes than this.

I have seen victims of assault or road accidents who have ended up looking a lot worse than this, never once has there been a fund set up for plastic surgery for them, surely the fact that she is still alive and obviously has a lot of friends should be enough to "put a smile on her face"?

There are plenty of childrens charitys etc who would welcome a donation of Ł5 rather than it all going towards one persons cosmetic surgery.
