Can i use an efi loom from a mk4 XR3i to convert to efi?

I presume you mean to convert a MK4 MFI to EFI?

Of course!

Its the same car! may be a couple of areas that cause a few problems, for instance the petrol tank sender/fuel pump plugs......

but if your going to go EFI thats probably the most reliable way to do it.

dont forget the EFI engine also has a couple of differences incase you are planning to use your MFI lump?

the EFI engine also has a couple of differences incase you are planning to use your MFI lump?
Do you not just use one of Jano's Converter things? And can you use any ecu? ie OFAC, OFAB or cossie with the XR3i loom?

Not familiar with Jano's "converter thing" as u specifically put it

OFAB/OFAC/Cossie ECU on an XR3i ......GOD NO
