wasn't the smartest move ever

have another clip taken from a handheld camera that was in the wet, plenty of sideways moments, but real scary, gave up trying in the end as was gonna end in disaster !

glad u liked it

Cheers all

Car was running sweet, I was ever so paranoid as I had only had to rebuild the engine a couple of days before we left, I was still running it in on the way over there!

not exactly the running in period I wanted from it tbh, as luck would have it I came home with milkshake as water so looks like the head went porous whilst I was there so its going to have to come apart again,

I still managed to do the 13 dead up the 1/4 with the porous head but since then have pulled the car to bits again, will get the head fixed then sell the engine on as its a really good engine and must be making the standard xe power you would expect

cheers mate

tbh its only a porous head, not the end of the world, I kept emptying the oil out of the water system so I could keep the car on the road for last pods of the year was planning to rip it to bits after that so will only be a Ł100 fix and the engine can be sold or kept for when I need a spare engine urgently lol

Faster than anyone on here has managed in a sierra cosworth so far isnt it?
Certainly quicker than i got in Johns stage 3, we were both over 9 mins even in the dry!

And thats with you on a standard engine, so we must have been murdering you on the straights with more than double the power, so it shows how well that nova must go round corners!

Awesome stuff

I've never had fade from mine either! Didn't want to say incasae I hadn't ben driving my car hard enough! Even on the Redline day I did 6 0-100-0's in a row and they were as god the first time as the last Had some pads made, so can't tell you what compound they are, but they seem very good!

And I've replied on Mig re: Stack

Sorry I forgot!

Good lap, was it your first trip?

There's a few places were you could've got away with using the kerbs for a better line such as Hatzenbach and Wipperman
