Is there an update patch or somthing i need? As when i went on the game (first time in 5 months) there was only a few serves i could go on, not the usual shed load.

Right dont the update now! But when it searchs for the servers after it finds about 1300 of them my net connection keeps going down

yeah it worked fine before the patch! Well fine if you call it somtimes not starting up etc But not when it searchs for servers it gets to about 1300 and just drops the connection out, then i cant connect to the net until i restart the comp

 

I would say, uninstall the lot, restart the pc, then reinstall it m8

 

RIght, if i stop before it hits the 1300 mark it works fine Bloodyu computers! Just had a good game, though gives me head ache after a while

 

best thing to do then is add the most played servas into the favourites of the game

that way you dot need to wait to scan as you just click onto favouriyes lol



i only use one serva which is freddyshouse

and always ramming

ive bene haing problems today with really slow play. turs out everyone on the server is getting he same symptoms... its as if the PC runs slow n jerky... but to affect everyone on the server? and no its not "lag".

with my fresh XP install and my new 6800GT gfx card BF2 tuns SWEET will all the settings maxed out in 1600x1200

altho it's not as "pretty" as i thought it'd be... dont look MUCH better than in normal quality

 

i dont use x fire anymore as ive formatted my pc

but ive paid to keep a serva up and running so always in that now as mentioned above

 

im bored shitless ..anybody fancy a game about 11.30pm

last time we tried xfire wasnt compatible with the new patch

Nah dude i dont think ss bit tired, and takes ages to load up on my machine

Oh yeah since i got the patch i have been promoted about 3 times Thought i was long over due a promotion, said i also unlocked loads of weapons though i can never use them playing online, well i can use the additional medic's gun etc.

 

no probs the guns upgrade click on the up arrow next to the weapon

took me i while to figure it out too

 

Nah i know abou the up arrow! Though it only ever displays agianst the medics for somereason and i cant select the others! Though i have been told i got awarded them. Its VERY strange!

 

PMSL that was one of the great things about the patch, i hadnt been promoted in ages, after the patch i was promoted twice

Not been using xfire mate, I'm still having a few "issues" with my PC after installing the new PSU, motherboard and 7800GTX

Last week i upgraded the PSU again to a very good 500w model, I was on BF2 for 3 hours with no problems and then i play it the other day and within 3 minutes of joining a server it reboots so i gave up!

got the PC builders gold unit in it now but it works

still looking at 2 gigs worth of ram on a shelf because pc wont recognise it

or it does 1 gig then goes wierd

basically on your filter settings in the game just have it as ranked

and type freddys in the search bar in game should come up with two servers

or you can go here and look for the ips
