http://www.webwombat.com.au/motoring...s/5_01_for.htm

We need to petition old Uncle Henry or something because it's criminal that we don't get these cars.

I'd even go so far as to say I'd take one over any Ford except an Escos

I remember some guy started imoporting them but it was a pretty small one man operation....

Iron block and an over complicated engine design, the ford motor just isnt as good as the general motors LS2 in my opinion.

cool car though

I never said I didn't like the Monaro

I LOVE the way it has the same engine as the Corvette but with a slightly larger capacity. Probably makes the yank boys cry into their donuts.

I want an LS2 in mine at some point.

That would be my ultimate car i think, my 3 door with the LS2

Might have to see about doing it next winter instead of building up my 200 block for it.

That'd be awesome mate, but do you think any of the Vaux mags would dare feature it?

Total vauxhall will feature vauxalls with engine swaps, but not other makes with vauxhall engines.

So it wouldnt get in a vauxhall mag, but it might get in fast ford again if they have the same policy of not minding if its other make engines (im sure they dont as im posistive ive seen a rover v8 one in there)

Not that ive seen, featured a few 12 second ones and ones that do in the 8s round the ring though.

Dont go thinking you cant make a performance car out of a nova or you will get a surpise one day when you get waste by one in that stage 3 saph you are planning on getting!

Does look like a scooby

The reason we dont have them is due to EU legislation and the cost of fuel..

Chimp...... I mean Chip...

At $50,000 australian for the Sedan that equates to less than Ł18,000

At $40,000 australian for the UTE.... that equates to less that Ł15,000

Ironically I almost went to Yes car credit. They accepted me then proceeded to ring me and email me over and over to get me to go down. It was then I realise though that if I went down there and took say, Ł5k and bought a Focus or something similar I'd have no chance of getting a Cossie in the next 5 years as I'd be paying back a ridiculous loan with 30% interest or something around that

Dont EVER go to people like that Jay.

Just save the pennies and get your saph and in the mean time just run about in things as cheap as possible.

NeilM you are having a fued? LOL
whats the point in that?

are you having one with me then too as ive noticed you seem to follow me around putting digs in from time to time but TBH i have utterly no idea why as ive no idea who you are and dont know anything about you other than that.

Chip, I saw the error of my ways and quickly decided not to go that route, hence buying the Bravo.

And having bought a FIAT, have you once again seen the error of your ways?

Well no because I've previously owned 3 Escorts, a mk2 Golf GTi 8v, a Clio 1.8 16v and the only one with half decent build quality was the Golf!

The Fiat is cool mate. Other than the rear wiper motor being dead it's fine. I think I'll knack the clutch up tho as I can't seem to change gear without making the car jerk
