Default Feckin Bush Removal on an S1.....is there an easy way ?

Oh my god......been at it since 12pm......trying to remove the bushes from the lower rear arms (both ends) and the rear tie bars (both ends)

So far out of the 8 bushes......i have managed to remove 1.

Is there an easy way to do this without a vice ? Am i missing something ? These fookers are a nightmare to get out !!

Tell me will i do any damage to the arms / tie bars if i just get a blow torch and burn the old rubber bush out so that it falls out ?

Tried hacksawing through the metal inner sleeves and i was knackered within 5 mins and not even half way through lol

Can anyone advise ?

Oh by the way, i know that on the lower end of the tie bar, the nut comes off.....then the washers / bushes etc.....but on the other end, the chassis end, i assume that bush comes out too if replacing with Poly Bushes. Its just the one on the chassis end of the tie bar look VERY permanent, but dont wanna go and haul them out to find out i shouldnt have.

Cheers folks.....

Michael
