Default 0-100

hi folks, just wondered if you could give me a rough estimate of what sort of times my car should be getting from 0-100 in,
SPEC. Stage 3. T34, greens, 500 cooler, GRP.Agasket, low comp. mapped by Karl Norris. Just wondered what similar cars were doing it in?

Its a 3 door.............cheers Staffi..............

Probably spikes at around 1.9BAR then slowly drops through the rev range and holds around 22psi for the limiter!

Just a guess though!

Should be same as the one in my sig, which Karl said is a good, strong, 350 brake and 350ft/lb torque, give or take 5bhp and 5 ft/lb torque

Read my post again!

Or the long version is:

All stage 3, so Greens, 500 Cooler, T34, 3bar Map Sensor ect...

Karl reckons it's a good 350bhp and 350 ft/lb torque, give or take 5 each way.

Boosts upto 1.9BAR (27.55psi) upto 5000 rpm, then drops to 23-24psi for 6000rpm, and then tails to (22psi) for the limiter to 7250rpm.

Spence 14 isnt too bad.

Robs astra did it in 9.something at TOTB juding by the 12.6@121mph, but dont have an accurate time, mid 9s rather than high 9s though though i think as it must take 3 from 100-121.

That was with not much over 350bhp though, so probably under 9 at its best it ever ran on the old spec (just over 400bhp)

Should be well into the 8s now though on the new spec engine im building for him currently

So should be a match in a 0-100 sprint for a 550 bhp cossie based on Rods figures

Fook knows what my mini will do 7.something i hope!

Not sure yet mate.

Quite like the twin so might go for an RSV Mille, especially as the prices are quite deflated after Aprilia financial problems earlier this year

Pretty much any decent sportsbike will do a sub seven 0-100

What? Robs having a new engine? But but but he cant! I would have had a little advantage over him with mine when shes setup!

Still need a loom and ECU, could you try and rob his for me?

EDIT: Oh you mean Rob SBD16V Rob? *tsk* i thought you meant McFly lol

Tyres used, and vehicle weight will also play a huge part.

Excuse my ignorance Rod but is your car 4wd or Rwd? I'd guess RWD from those times as they're slower than I'd expect from 4wd.

Well i assume from that slip yours IS 4wd

Cause is a fecking terrible terminal for anything rwd or fwd doing those times, i was managing those terminal in a fwd nova that only ran 13.3, so to take a second off it MUST have been 4wd i guess?
Especially with a 1.7 60ft

Yep, it's 4wd, the clue is in the Gtir in red on the slip I don't have enough power for high terminals yet.

PS the car mentioned above isn't the one I have now (in my siggy)
