im looking at havin to take the windscreen out of my erst , whats the best way to take it out please?

Carefully us a a large flat blade screwdriver from the inside of the car to fold the rubber behind the frame be carful tho its easy to slip and crack the screen, i usually find after going up 1 pillar and along the top the screen will push out.

 

thanks mate, iv got to take it out cus of a hole in the skuttle and to see how much rust is at the back

work up the sides with 2 drivers and push the rubber beyond the body lip...work slowly untill the screen feels loose then wiggle it out from the top to release the bottom edge......refit with some fairy liqid in the seal and a lenth of wire come and see me and i'l show you how

 

If its a heated screen dont forget to take the interior clock out and remove the screw behind it!!!!!!

Otherwise as your prizing it out, it will crack from top to bottom
