hi troopers,

ive bought a series 2 in 6 different shades of red and whilst trying to do half a dozen maintainance jobs on it i thaught id see if any1 had any ideas on what my turbo is doing for when i get round to the engine.

it starts boosting at 1900 revs and obviously cannot get any power down, is also creating a flat spot mid range,its defo a t3 so please dont ask that lol, somebody has suggested ignition/timing and ecu set up. as its my 1st esc turbo im not up on these things.

boositng at under 2k, your lucky mates most RS's are 3K and above

Check all the little things such as timing as suggested, or even better get it set up professionally!

hi zoober tis danny, from work, the best thing you can do as suggested above is to get it setup. i still not fixed me bloody indicators going to sparky tomorrow you in work 2day?

Big Boost!! How big?

Its possible your wastegate has seized closed, fairly common on these cars.
Take the Actuator arm off from under the turbo and make sure the wastegate is moving freely.

The wastegate being seized will make the turbo boost very high and then hit Over Boost, which will make the car cut out for a second and nose dive before coming back on.

thanks for that 1 that sound very familiar. ive got a -31 for it so perfect time to check it out. thats after mending my wing mirrors after the warrington chav maffier keep kicking my wing mirrors off.
