i just got MSN toolbar on my PC,
seems to block the pop ups and tell you how many its done.

I use the google toolbar

Pop up blocker, google search, spell checker, autofill & lots more

Googl toolbar as GurnE said - I turned off the shitty Windows pop up blocker and only use the Google one, and hve only had about 3 pop ups in the last 6months or so Plus the search bar it adds to your IE browser is HELLA usefull - easy quick google searchs
