Hi folks,

This was an old post for some ebay items I had back in December, but I'm sure I can help you all out!

The heat shields were designed for 2wd Saph fitment, but should also fit 4wd models I'd imagine as the turbo/manifold is much closer to the engine. As soon as I get a chance I'll find out for sure if it will fit a 4 x4 model, as it's something I get asked a lot.

Just to be curious.. what's the material on the inside of the heatshield (coating). What's keeping it from getting hot

 

The lining in the pics above was some fancy heat mat stuff we had lying around when we first made the item - usually found shielding aeroplane exhausts!

All heat shields we supply now are plain single skin - depending on the application (ie cosmetic or 450bhp race car) the new owner may or may not want to fit extra heat matting as required.

Demon Tweeks and many of the rally companies can supply this sort of thing.
