Anyone know where I can get hold of the seal that sits in between the metering head and airfilterhousing? finis code is 1630521. Ford don't do them anymore.

 

Dont think you will get one on it's own mate there like gold dust as they get lost when people put k&n cone filter's on your best bet is to have a look on ebay and buy another airbox thats got one with it thats what i done or put a post in the parts wanted section

 

Just a question..........can u not put em on without the seal i.e is it vital??? Only i've just bought one from someone on here and didn't ask about that, hope it's got one!

 

the car will run, but will be sucking in unfiltered air too

 

how much would an air box be worth with said part attatched to it still?

 

It's worth a maximum of £15 on it's own IMO
I have 5 of the buggers, but mates always loosing them so scrounge em off of me!!

 

i got mine off ebay like new with the sealing ring £5 plus the p+p there worth what someone wants to pay for it but like james said i would'nt pay no more than about £10-£20 max

 

yep ford dont do them any more and have not made them for years
