me and my staff and the whole of IT are talking about trying to talk our managers in to letting us go on a teambuilding weekend thingy, be it one day or whatever, I obviously suggested go karting or blasting round a race track, but as they all thing i am a mad midget they soon dismissed that has anyone been on one if these teambuilding things and what did you do? I seen one which is basically "its a knockout" which would be class tho

Done the whole It's A Knockout thing complete with human tabletop football and also did this one where it was machines, like those funky little tanks, MASSIVE quads, helicopters etc. It rocketh big time.

Paintball mate - best team builder ever. If you are all on the same team, then brings you much closer - if there is enough people to be against one another, you get to inflict pain on the people you hate.

About as therapeutic as it gets...!

I did an awesome one several years ago when I worked for The PocketPhone Shop. We were in a conference hall, thinking we were there for a big annual meeting and after a while a group of 3 blokes in long black coats and sunglasses walked in and 'took over'. Shortly after that the big curtain that divided the conference room came down and beyond it was a HUGE warehouse that was laid out with loads of Computer terminals. It was done on a 'Matrix' theme and there was a whole days activities with all kinds of stuff like where you are in a maze of corridors with the laser guns and computer based puzzles etc. I haven't seen The Matrix, so I don't know the storyline, but it ended with the large cube in the middle of the room exploding with an absolutely deafening bang.

Brilliant day.

I rent an office off a printing firm, they all went on one, part of it was a sit down open heart discussion about yourself and everyone else (get to know each other bollocks) ended up with everyone bitching at each other and the manager crying his eyes out after delving into past problems and issues

He got so much respect in the office on the Monday morning honest

Just make sure it's an activerty weekend and something everyone wants to do and it'll be a good crack.
